The dance was really fun for me! It was way better than last years. Raleigh Stake combined with Apex Stake which made it great because there was like a LOT more youth there! I got to see all my friends in the stake and even meet some new ones in Apex. I usually just go with one of my best friends, Victoria, but Lauren was finally old enough to go so I got to take her with me!! She will probably write her own experience on her own blog so i'll let her do that. All I know is she went from a crowd hater to a social butterfly like that!! It was cool to see. Oh, i'll share one cool thing that happened while I was dancing with someone from the Apex stake. I had asked this one guy to dance and when we finished dancing he said he was going to give me a kiss, well that like FREAKED me out a little (by freaked out I mean giving him an odd look like "are you INSANE?!?") until he reached in his pocket and pulled out a hershey's kiss. Then I got it. (PS- I got 4 kisses that night! LOL) Well, here are some pics from the evening.

Fun, fun, fun at the dance! I am so glad you had a good time. Dad said y'all had a lot of fun...what great memories!
You look like you just had a blast! You are growing up and look so pretty in all your pictures. You just have a wonderful glow about you all the time! I can see why you have so many friends.
The hershey's kiss - that was cute. I wish we had had stake new years eve dances when I was a youth. (This stake has them for the youth and grownups, but now I've got little kids at home.)
